Mission Statement
The Trauma Intervention Program is a group of specially trained and thoroughly screened volunteers who provide emotional and practical support to victims of traumatic events and their families in the first few hours after a tragedy. The volunteers are called to a trauma scene by police officers, fire fighters or hospital emergency room personnel. TIP is a nonprofit organization and all services are provided at no cost
