KINGSBOROUGH COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION
Mission Statement
Founded in 1963, Kingsborough Community College (KCC), a division of the City University of New York (CUNY), is a gateway to higher education for the culturally and ethnically diverse population of Brooklyn and beyond, providing high school graduates and those with a high school equivalency with the opportunity to develop their skills and earn a college degree. As Brooklyn's only community college, KCC is consistently recognized for providing open access for under-represented populations: low-income and minority students, those with disabilities, and immigrant students, most of whom are the first generation in their family to attend college.
