Mission Statement
For 30 years, The Jazz Foundation of America, a national non-profit, has been providing housing assistance, pro-bono medical support and emergency financial assistance to Jazz, Blues and Roots musicians in need, as a result of age, illness or circumstance. We create dignified employment opportunities for our musician clients through our Jazz and Blues in the Schools program, and through our Gig Fund program, we provide free-to-the-public concerts in parks, recreation and senior centers, lobbies, museums, libraries and green markets around the country.
