Mission Statement

The mission of the Parents Association of Stuyvesant High School is to support the school in order to enhance the education and school experience for all of our students. We do so through volunteering our time and effort, and by raising funds from inside and outside our community to provide the resources needed to maintain the high standards for which Stuyvesant has always been known. Every parent and guardian at our school is a member of our Parents' Association. The PA gives grants to departments, teams, clubs, and publications. The PA funds college-related services, including all expenses for the annual individual junior family college advisements each spring and the College Night fair that takes place every April. The PA also allocates grants for larger projects that improve the educational opportunities for the students. The PA also keeps families informed of news, events, and deadlines through its quarterly Newsletters, website and weekly e-news. All of these grants and program activities are made possible by your generous contributions.
