Mission Statement
Dachshund Adoption, Rescue, and Education, Inc. (DARE) is an all-volunteer organization "dedicated to increasing public awareness through education about animal cruelty, overpopulation, and related issues while rescuing and re-homing displaced and unwanted dachshunds and dachshund mix dogs throughout Florida". Since 2001, we have specialized in helping dogs that others may overlook, including seniors and those with medical challenges. With no physical location, our dedicated network of foster homes serves as the backbone of our mission, providing love, care, and second chances to dachshunds in need.
