North Shore Long Island Jewish health system is one of the largest health care systems, providing care to more than seven million New Yorkers. These sites range from Manhattan to Eastern Long Island ensuring quality care across the entire NYC metro region. With more than 50,000 employees our company serves as an excellent opportunity to promote your organization. In March 2015 employees here are participating in the NYC half marathon in order to raise money for our cancer patients. NSLIJ’s, Monter Cancer Center, is one of the largest cancer care programs in the NY area treating pediatrics and adults. At this facility we run exams to help diagnose cancer and determine staging leading to fast treatment options. Oncologists here treat cancer through chemo and radiation therapy ensuring the utmost safety for the patients. The first week in March we are holding a charity raffle at our facility to help us raise funds for these patients. We are requesting monetary donations or gift cards/baskets to raffle off during this event. As a result of any donations we are prepared to advertise your organization via posters or our NSLIJ newsletter. In lieu of this, the runners have also agreed to wear your organizations logo on their running gear during the NYC half marathon. With an estimated 20,000 runners and 2 million NYC spectators, the NYC half marathon is an excellent opportunity to advertise. Working in oncology, we see some of the strongest most amazing people I have ever met. These patients not only have to concentrate on getting well – but still have to balance their lives at home. Many of our patients are working parents with families to support – and every day bills to pay. Help us reach our goal of $1000 to ease the burden they face every day. Let our patients concentrate on their treatments – and more importantly getting better. The Rangers is a staple in the NY area in which our employees are huge fans.
