Mission Statement
The Thursday Club was founded in 1921 to promote social, educational, cultural, and civic activities throughout San Diego County. Each year, the Thursday Club Juniors proudly support their heritage of philanthropy by throwing a gala fundraiser. Since its founding, our Thursday Club groups have raised nearly $2 million dollars to support local charities. A few of our past beneficiaries include Special Delivery San Diego, San Diego Food Bank, Boys to Men Mentoring, San Diego Adaptive Sports Foundation. ARTS - A Reason to Survive and Promises2Kids. Funds raised by Thursday Club Juniors have helped to transform many local charities, enabling them to better serve our community and help where it is needed most.
