A MILLION STARS INC
Mission Statement
Through an individualized, holistic, and multi-year commitment, College Bound empowers promising students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve bachelor’s degrees and fulfilling careers. College Bound provides programming and resources to its students that give them every opportunity for success, improving the quality of their lives and supporting their communities through educational attainment. Like Ameren, College Bound's goal is to enhance the quality of life for people in the St. Louis Region through education and services for youth. College Bound’s (CB) comprehensive “whole child” program transforms students' academic capacity, social and emotional competence, and persistence skills leading to postsecondary completion and workforce readiness. CB currently serves 600 students in a seven- to nine-year program beginning at the end of a student’s freshman year of high school.
