Mission Statement

For over 130 years, Hope Rescue Mission has been a place of refuge for the homeless men of Berks County, PA. In 2023, we opened a 43-room center to house, clothe and feed women and children who are experiencing homelessness. We offer four residential programs that men can work their way through to transition back into the community as productive and independent individuals. We serve over 300 men, women and children every day on our 5-acre campus in Reading, PA.
