York Springs, Pa. 17372 Dear Patron: The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing is a non-profit organization founded in 1975, dedicated to the preservation of the great history of motor racing in America. EMMR not only honors significant people and vehicles of racings past but also the historic speedways, fairgrounds, drag car organizations, and the Gettysburg AACA Region. We are having our 44th EMMR Annual Convention at the museum this year on August 24th thru the 26th. Friday during the day there will be round tables discussions on various drivers, cars, and etc. Saturday and Sunday you can see the restored cars do exhibition racing around the historic Latimore Valley Speedway along with our membership meeting and interviews. Saturday, August 25th, is our annual Cruise-In at the museum from 10 am-3 p.m. (Rain Date Sun. Aug. 26th, 10am-3 p.m.) We will be having food, music, and raffles. We are giving out 20 Sponsor awards this year along with our Best of Show Cash Prizes. There will be a plaque given to the first 100 participants and Goody Bags as long as they last. The museum will be open and it is free admission. Come and see our new displays. We’d like to thank all those who donated last year. There were over 125 cars and with the generous donations for our plaques, advertising, the Chinese auction, the items for in our “goodie bags”, and etc. the cruise was a success. We again are asking for donations for our Chinese Raffle for our cruise-in and for our goody bags that we will be distributing. If you have any items you would like to give towards this we would appreciate it and it is tax deductible. You may mail any items, certificates, or passes to: Carol Weaver, 37 Mud Run Rd, York Springs, Pa. 17372.
