Mission Statement

While we are a relatively small Chapter, we pride ourselves in identifying the extraordinary needs of our community and its families and helping to aid their plight. Through your generosity and support, we have been able to continue to endow scholarships at local high schools and colleges to enable young people in our community to fulfill their educational dreams; we have continued our annual turkey basket drive, where we fill 100 baskets with traditional Thanksgiving dinners for distribution by members to local families in need, allowing the spirit of Thanksgiving to be realized by those who may not have been able to celebrate otherwise; and our busy year comes to a close in the month of December when we host a Christmas party for 125 underprivileged children and their families. Our members become chaperones for a day and assist a child with shopping for presents, and sometimes for basic necessities, for their families.
