AVENUE SCHOLARS
Mission Statement
The mission of Avenue Scholars is to ensure careers for students of hope and need through education and supportive relationships. The program’s primary objectives include increased high school graduation, matriculation, and college persistence rates, with an overarching goal to help participants overcome generational poverty by securing and sustaining careers that pay them a living wage. We encourage you to watch our new informational video, available on our homepage at http://www.avescholars.org - which will give you a more personal introduction to our program and some of the inspiring young people we serve.
