BACHAO
Mission Statement
BACHAO (Bangladeshi American Charitable Organization) is a nonprofit public charity organization that aims to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Bangladesh. BACHAO mainly focuses on improving the availability and quality of education and healthcare, particularly for women and young children. The BACHAO Ambassadors program is a cadet branch of BACHAO designed for teenage second-generation Bangladeshi-Americans who also wish to participate in BACHAO's philanthropic efforts. Our mission is twofold: first, to raise awareness among our peers for the living conditions in Bangladesh; and second, to promote charity and be active members of our community here in Southern California. The BACHAO Ambassadors have a goal of raising $2000 every year to fund the education of four meritorious but underprivileged university students in Bangladesh.
