Mission Statement
Our mission: To create healthier communities by nurturing the personal growth and development of youth through sports, mentorship and community engagement in a supportive, encouraging environment. Since 2001, South West Athletics, Inc. has served over 100 participants by providing a development program and the opportunity to participate in tournaments throughout Arizona with a focus on the following goals: • To provide an environment where participants can maximize their physical development and athletic potential • To assist participants in identifying, embracing and developing their unique skills and talents • To teach life skills and nurture leadership through mentorship opportunities • To encourage participants to utilize skills learned in the program as productive community members • To make the talents of our youth visible in the greater sports community
