ATHLETES HELPING ATHLETES INC
Mission Statement
The purpose of this organization shall be to provide awareness and community support for any athletes with special needs affiliated with Athletes Helping Athletes, Inc. based out of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Athletes Helping Athletes, Inc. of Temple University and other organizations that cater to individuals with special needs in the Philadelphia and surrounding counties. Temple University’s organization will do so through inclusion in Temple University’s athletic functions by recognizing said athletes with special needs as Honorary Team Captains at the home games for our participating sports teams. Athletes Helping Athletes, Inc. also offers extra-curricular events and activities that provide opportunities for athletes of all abilities and coaches to come together while sharing athletic experiences and a love of sports while developing compassion and mutual respect.
