PAUL SEIWERT FOUNDATION
Mission Statement
To Whom It May Concern, The Paul Seiwert Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit was established in 2008 in memory of Paul Thomas Seiwert. Over the last five years the Paul Seiwert Foundation has raised funds for kids with cancer, in memory of Paul, who was diagnosed at the age of three with ALL Leukemia. Unfortunately, Paul lost his battle to cancer at the age of nine, however he left his caring spirit as a legacy to support other children fight the complexities of cancer. The Paul Seiwert Foundation is a continuation of Paul’s charitable spirit aiding other children afflicted with cancer through philanthropy. Paul dreamed of becoming a Doctor, desiring to provide other children and their family medical treatment with favorable health outcomes, while never losing hope to heal. During his illness he was an avid collector of Teddy Bears, loved to cook while enjoying numerous art projects! Paul's dream is dedicated to saving lives by helping to fund a cure for cancer. The foundation seeks to make a difference by generating support for cancer research, assisting children who are afflicted with diseases, and maintaining/expanding child life wellness programs. The foundation performs these roles through advocacy, education, fundraising, and philanthropy. We are proud to share with you that we will be hosting Paul’s Fifth Dinner and Dance…for kids with cancer on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Proceeds will benefit the children at Advocate Children’s Hospital where Paul received his cancer treatment and made special friendships. We anticipate we will have over 200 guests and would be most grateful for your donation to support our fundraising raffle. The Paul Seiwert Foundation contributes 100% of the cash contributions and net proceeds from Paul's Dinner and Dance helping children with cancer, cancer research, and cancer related programs. If you are willing to donate, any items can be sent to my address: Colleen Seiwert 309 N. Washington Park Ridge, IL. 60068 Your name will also be printed in our event donors and silent auction booklet, which is great press! Please let me know the name that you would like me to list. It is with heartfelt gratitude that we “THANK YOU” for your consideration to share in Paul’s dream, helping his special friends with cancer. We look forward to your response.
