Mission Statement
The mission of African Cultural Services Inc. (also known as Africano Waltham or Africano) is to use a holistic approach to lift up African immigrant youth and their families to succeed in life through the provision of a safe space, educational and mental assistance, visual and performing arts, and cultural connections. Africano also provides support for basic needs such as food, shelter, and access to medical care. Africano engages with the wider community of Waltham and beyond to bridge divides, dispel myths, and promote respect, inclusion, and appreciation of diverse communities.
