Mission Statement

The mission of the University of Findlay is to equip students for meaningful lives and productive careers. Colleges within the University, including the College of Education (COE), believe that it is essential to not only fulfill this mission for enrolled students, but also for individuals in the community. Therefore, in 2008 the COE established The Clubhouse Reading Center (The Clubhouse) to provide free literacy outreach service to the children and adolescents of area children to afford them better opportunities to succeed. The mission of The Clubhouse is to support and enhance the reading skills and needs of area children through relevant and personal reading assessments and intervention.
