COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF THE QUINCY AREA

We connect people who care with causes that matter. We work with individuals, families, businesses, not-for-profits and others to enrich the quality of life in our communities by 1) providing a vehicle and service for donors with varied interests and at varied levels of giving; 2) serving as a resource and catalyst for charitable activities; 3) developing permanent endowment capabilities; and 4) assessing and responding to emerging and changing community needs. We ask donors, "What do you want to do with your charitable dollars? Where do you want to make a difference?" Then we work with donors, not-for-profits, and others to help fulfill charitable goals and foster community impact. We convene various audiences to assess situations, determine needs and opportunities, and partner for impact. In the process, we have developed funds that provide current grants and that contain and build permanent financial support often vital for continuing impact. Our flexible structure allows us to assess and respond to ever-changing needs and opportunities in our communities and region.
