Mission Statement
The Reif Arts Council’s strap-line is “Stimulating Arts in Northern Minnesota.” The underlying principle guiding our mission is to offer a diverse mix of performing and visual arts to be experienced, exhibited and taught. This is fleshed out in the six values statements the Reif Board has adopted: 1. We will pursue artistic excellence. 2. Quality arts experiences should be accessible to all. 3. The arts are integral to quality education. 4. We will maintain a well-managed arts organization and facility. 5. We gain strength through collaboration and partnerships. 6. The arts enrich our lives and are catalysts for a healthy community.
