Mission Statement
Our mission is three-fold: 1. Partner with our member-schools to increase access, retention and graduation rates of students 2. Identify and prepare students attending member-schools who have significant leadership potential 3. Create a pipeline for employers to highly qualified member-school students and alumni. TMCF is the only national organization to provide merit scholarships, programmatic and capacity building support to 47 public HBCUs. TMCF’s member-schools are a critical source of higher education for all students. More than 80% of all students enrolled in HBCUs attend TMCF’s member colleges and universities.
