Mission Statement
Heart disease is the #1 cause of death for both men and women in the United States, but it is also one of the most preventable. The Heart Foundation’s mission is to save lives from heart disease by increasing awareness, promoting early detection, and funding innovative research at Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai for improved methods of prevention, detection, and treatment.
