AUSTIN COMING TOGETHER
Mission Statement
Austin Coming Together (ACT)’s mission is to facilitate the collective impact of 50+ members and hundreds of partners to improve the quality of life in Chicago's Austin community. Since 2010, ACT has been connecting residents to services, attracting investments for the community, and building capacity for policy change. Recently, the pandemic made long-standing challenges even worse. But ACT was about to mobilize resources to address growing needs – from food, laptops, or PPE distributions and vaccine access, to advocacy for racial equity.
