PRELUDE TO A CURE INC

Lung cancer will kill three times more Americans in 2019 than any other cancer – and almost twice as many women as breast cancer. Until now, a lung cancer diagnosis offered scant hope. Less than one in five of those diagnosed survived even five years. But today there is real hope in the form of groundbreaking, promising new treatments. Prelude to a Cure Inc* is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to doing something about this dreadful disease. We are an entirely volunteer organization, founded by a cancer survivor with a group of friends who have lost close family members to lung or other cancers. Our mission is to spread awareness of this horrific disease and mobilize support in the pursuit of more effective new treatments and earlier detection methods.
