THE TORI WILENSKY FOUNDATION
Mission Statement
Tori Reese Wilensky was born on August 10, 2010 to Eric and Heather Wilensky. She joined her big sister Jenna and big brother Brandon. On August 4, 2012 she died tragically in her sleep the night after her second birthday party. Tori's death was ruled Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). SUDC is defined as "the sudden and unexpected death of a child over the age of 12 months, which remains unexplained after a thorough case investigation is conducted. This must include: examination of the death scene, performance of a complete autopsy and a review of the child and family's medical history. SUDC is a diagnosis of exclusion- given when all known and possible causes of death have been ruled out." To say we were shocked and devastated at her untimely loss is an understatement and to know that there was not a reason was unbearable for us. Soon after Tori's death a Foundation was established in her name. With Events like Moves Like Tori (See Link) the foundation will use the money for various charitible organizations important to the Wilensky Family. The majority of funds will be donated to www. SUDC.org, an organization that has tremendously helped families like ours during this unimaginable loss.
