Mission Statement

Lake County Youth Mentor Program was established in July 2010 pursuant to a grant from the Oregon Community Foundation. The program operates under the Friends of the Mentor Program tax identification number 47-1158839, a copy of which is enclosed. The purpose of the program is to work with youth throughout Lake County in an effort to improve academic performance, reduce school absenteeism and discipline referrals, and help students prepare for future career choices.
