BRETT TASHMAN FOUNDATION

The Foundation provides all proceeds from this event to finding a cure, through research, for Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT). DSRCT is an aggressive cancer that strikes children and young adults. Funding will assist doctors in discovering a cure to other childhood cancers and sarcomas that may be similar in certain aspects, such as Ewing Sarcoma. Unfortunately, less than 4% of federal cancer research funding is dedicated to childhood and young adult cancer research.
