CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION CENTER OF ORLANDO INC
Mission Statement
TThe Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) exists to create a positive, transformational impact on the lives of individuals with neurological motor disabilities and their families by empowering them to reach their highest potential and achieve maximum independence. Our mission is to provide innovative, lifelong learning and development programs that transform lives through Conductive Education—a holistic approach that integrates physical, cognitive, and social skills. CECO’s vision is to continually enhance the lives of those with neurological motor disabilities, helping them thrive and experience greater independence, confidence, and quality of life. Founded in 2001 by the Raymond family and inspired by their son Joseph’s journey with cerebral palsy, CECO has grown into the largest Conductive Education center in the United States and the only one of its kind in Florida. Conductive Education is a unique, integrative method that strengthens motor skills, communication, daily living abilities, and emotional resilience, empowering individuals to achieve goals once thought impossible. For more than 25 years, CECO has expanded from a small pilot program into a nationally recognized organization offering seven distinct programs for individuals of all ages—from early childhood through adulthood. To date, CECO has served hundreds of students and impacted thousands of families, many of whom have relocated to Central Florida to access CECO’s life-changing programs. By focusing on abilities rather than limitations, CECO champions an often forgotten and marginalized community, ensuring they have access to the resources, opportunities, and support they deserve to live full and independent lives.
