This mission of the BSA is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Scouting teaches young people to help others and it instill personal values of good character, good citizenship, and personal fitness that allows them to achieve their full potential.
