APPALACHIAN AGRICULTURAL EXPOSITION CENTER

The mission of the Appalachian Regional Exposition Center will be to promote the progress of the Southwest Virginia and Virginia's agricultural industry and provide a cultural diversity opportunity to the region. The AREC will stimulate interest in the advantages and development of the Appalachian Regional Exposition Center for exhibitions, conventions, trade shows, public gatherings, cultural activities, and other functions. In managing this facility, the Appalachian Regional Exposition Center resolves to advance Virginia's agricultural and tourism industry and the regional economy while serving the agricultural, entertainment, cultural, spiritual, and educational interest of the public.
