Mission Statement
The mission of our center is to quickly and professionally respond to and meet the needs of child victims of assault, abuse, or neglect and to provide the loving comfort and helpful services to the children and their non-offending family members during recovery and rehabilitation. Kalin’s Center is a nonprofit, 501 © organization that has been providing these services free of charge since 2001. We have 25 active board members that make up a well diverse and cross section of Houston and Trinity Counties. The Kalin’s Center relies totally on yearly grants, donations from individuals, foundations, businesses and corporations. With this help we hope to bring a brighter future to the abused children of Houston and Trinity Counties as we work with our partner agencies in a collaborative effort to promote a fair and thorough investigation and prosecution of each case.
