Mission Statement
The Youth Development Center’s mission is to INSPIRE, EQUIP, and GUIDE Urban Youth to LIVE by providing an intensive after school remediation program for elementary students in grades 1 through 6 in Houston’s Greater Fifth Ward. Through technology-based instruction under the supervision of certified teachers, YDC’s students improve their literacy and math skills to become more successful students.
