Mission Statement
Moving On Up with Tennis and Education, Inc. (website link: https://www.movingonupwithtennis.org/about) began in December 2016 as a part of the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL). The NJTL was started in 1969 by Arthur Ashe, Charlie Pasarell, and Sheridan Snyder to give children who ordinarily would not have a chance to play an opportunity to learn the game. Our program, which targets the youth in the greater Springfield area.
