Mission Statement
The mission of the Inlight Institute is to empower kids to care. Our vision is to prevent youth violence and address mental health risks through education, empathy, and kindness so that children can excel in adulthood. Our goal is to build confident advocates for the future by shining a spotlight on connection, communication, and conservation. Our programs enhance youth-peer connections and strengthen relationships with parents, trusted adults, and teachers. Through adaptive solutions and mindful curriculum, we reduce the social deficits affecting youth today, including anxiety, bullying & humiliation, cutting/self-mutilation, depression, eating disorders, substance abuse, suicide & suicidal tendencies, and domestic terrorism.
