Mission Statement
The mission of the Suke Strong Foundation is to raise awareness and funding for patients suffering with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and their families they inevitably leave behind. Funds raised from this year’s event will be added to a scholarship fund for children left behind by a Person with ALS (PALS) and devoted to assisting others like our mother with the daily challenges on this horizon. Our mother, Joan Sucher, is leaving a legacy for her grandchildren, which they will only realize as grown adults, far beyond her own lifetime. Her mantra, “Today I Choose Joy” has become a guiding principle in each of our lives.
