Mission Statement
The Chicago Fire Department Pipes and Drums is a service band established in 2007 to honor line of duty deaths of Members of the Fire Service, Law Enforcement members, soldiers killed in action and Honor Flights that thank our war veterans. Band membership is voluntary, and practices and performances are done in the member’s free time. It is our profound honor and solemn duty to perform for these events at no cost to the department or the families of these heroes.
