SANTA BILLS HOSPITAL HELPERS

We are Santa Bill’s Hospital Helpers. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) whose passion is to bring Santa Claus and Christmas Joy to all of the children staying in the Peoria, IL area hospitals during Christmas time. For over 25 years, our generous community members have allowed us to make this possible by donating new and unwrapped toys along with monetary donations for our organization to purchase thousands more. Each year, during the Spoon River Drive in Farmington, IL , we collect donations; along with hosting a family friendly Christmas Fundraiser at Country Club BBQ in West Peoria, IL which includes a silent auction and fun activities for the children. We also partner with many businesses throughout the greater Peoria area who offer to serve as donors, as well as donation and toy collection sites. We can proudly say that our organization is staffed 100% with volunteers with very little costs. This allows us to ensure that we can allocate the maximum amount of the funds raised go directly towards our mission. Thanks to our local community’s generosity, Santa Bill is able to fill his “sleigh” (a 26 ft box truck) full of toys. Children of all ages are able to experience the excitement of Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and their elves personally delivering them toys such as: new stuffed animals, board games, art supplies, sports memorabilia, dolls, action figures, STEM based educational toys, bicycles, IPADs, Chromebooks and everything in between. Our mission is to ensure that each and every child at Children's Hospital of Illinois in OSF Saint Francis Hospital, Carle Health Methodist Hospital and their affiliates (including OSF Almost Home, OSF Bloomington, OSF Galesburg, OSF Kewanee, CH Proctor, CH Pekin, and many more) will feel the magic that Santa brings and the joy of a Merry Christmas.
