Mission Statement
Our main mission is to improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities by focusing on their needs and rights through the provision of services, education, technology and advocacy in order to provide a better quality of life. A key goal for our target populations is to help them reach their independence via one-on-one assistance. Whereas our main focus is people with developmental disabilities, we also work directly with their parents, caretakers, and other loved ones. Fostering independence and self-determination in our clients is both a personal and collective journey, and we at Florecer treat this process with the utmost respect.
