Mission Statement
Southern California Association of Fingerprint Officers (SCAFO) is a non-profit professional law enforcement organization dedicated to the science of fingerprints and crime scene investigations. Established in 1937, SCAFO is one of the oldest forensic organizations in the country. Our membership is made up of sworn police officers and civilian professionals throughout the state including several local agencies, trained in the scene of fingerprints and crime scene investigations.
