ANACORTES YOUTH SPORTS COALITION
Mission Statement
The Anacortes Youth Sports Coalition was formed in 1993 to help raise funds for youth programs and college scholarships in Anacortes and elsewhere in Skagit County, including the Anacortes Legion baseball program, youth football and Fidalgo Chapter of Special Olympics. Since that first year, it has added girls fastpitch, youth wrestling, youth cheerleading, Little League baseball/softball, girls summer basketball, youth mountain biking, youth swim teams and more. In addition, the coalition supports athletes in special circumstances through special grants and started an annual scholarship program in 1997. Our annual auction is the primary fundraiser supporting all of these youth groups.
