Mission Statement

Losing a child is never easy to understand, never easy to forget, and never able to get over. Play Like Gunnar is our way to heal, and make Gunnar proud. As the grandparent, I need my strength and beliefs to help me help my kids. We get our strengths from all the support we have gotten and what we continue to get. Play Like Gunna's mission is to bring awareness to a disease that is one that no one knows about, how it effects kids, and what is involved. We also are working hard to get more funds to help so many (one in 40,000 babies are born with some form of CHD every year) . We are working very hard to make a difference in CHD's so that another family will not have to feel the pain we live with every single minute, hour, and day. Without our friends and generous supporters nothing changes. We just can't do this without you!
