Mission Statement
Happy Hats for Kids in Hospitals uplifts the spirits, enrich the lives and eases the fears of hospitalized children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. This one-of-a-kind program helps shift their focus away from discomfort and pain through educational, bilingual, interactive and fun activities. We bring exciting holiday festivities to hospitalized children and their families who are unable to celebrate in the comfort and warmth of their homes. During the production process, our program also helps raise the self-esteem of youth with special needs, including: autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, visual impairments, and hearing impairments, with daily challenging tasks to improve their communication and motor skills as they learn valuable aptitudes to enhance their independence for their future.
