Mission Statement

At Battlefield to Backwoods Veteran Outdoors, our mission is to provide a supportive community and accessible resources for veterans and first responders looking to reconnect with nature and each other. We aim to facilitate outdoor experiences that foster healing, growth, and camaraderie through a variety of activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, and conservation efforts. We believe that the great outdoors offers a unique environment to share their stories and challenges, allowing them to build lasting relationships and cultivate a sense of purpose. Our programs are designed to empower veterans and first responders, encouraging them to embrace the natural world while promoting physical and mental well-being. Together, we honor the sacrifices they’ve made while providing a pathway to a fulfilling and active lifestyle. Through mentorship, education, and community engagement, we strive to reduce the rate of veteran and first responder suicides.
